"Let's get lit" - trees of MacArthur Square
We teamed up with the city of Norfolk for the holidays on their annual Grand Illumination Event to power two music reactive light shows. This one was at MacArthur Square Station, a local Light Rail station. They already had a large Christmas Tree setup as a focal point but asked us to add our music reactive lighting technology to the surrounding area.
This was a larger outdoor setup and slightly more advanced so you may want to consult a professional installer if looking to do a similar setup. In addition to our standard controller adjusted to use 12V that we added to a waterproof container, we used quite a bit of custom cables to accomplish a 12V Setup (more details to come).
We created two V's in front of the tree using LED strips. Each V used six (6) LED strips, three (3) on each side. The lower V was used for Bass and the top V was dedicated to Mids. For Treble, we wrapped the Christmas tree base with two (2) string lights as well as five trees in the background with one to two strings on each.

The majority of the time we used a holiday playlist using Soundtrack Your Brand but for this video we played 12 Drops of Xmas by PALA. Here are some more of our favorites:
