What Am I Buying?

You’re buying our music reactive lighting technology.  Our technology consists of our hardware and more importantly, our software.  

Our hardware is the ViVi controller that fits in the palm of your hand.  Is there anything groundbreaking about our hardware?  Sure it’s custom and high quality - but still, the short answer is “Nope”.  

In fact, we encourage DIYers to try their hand at using accessible hardware (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc.) coupled with open source software to create their own music reactive setups.  It’s true that, with some motivation, effort, and enough time, music reactive LED setups can be achieved for lower out of pocket costs than ViVi.

So why choose ViVi?  Because our software is groundbreaking.  Because ViVi is the only music reactive controller that controls Mids, Bass, and Treble independently.  Because our code is constantly obsessed over and refined.  Because the music reactive light shows our controller produces are incomparable to any other music reactive LED controller on the market.  Because you get what you pay for.

There is a reason why Lighting Professionals repeatedly purchase our controllers for their installs.  It’s because they understand the value that ViVi provides in producing awe inspiring light shows automatically.  They are aware that the work required to achieve awe inspiring light shows without ViVi is ten fold, and that’s for each song.

We don’t care so much about you buying our LED strips, we carry them so customers can have a one-stop-shop and ensure high-quality and compatibility, but there are compatible lights available elsewhere that will work fine too.  We do, however, care very much about your decision to buy our ViVi controller because we think everyone should have the opportunity to jam to their tunes and Bring Their Music to Light.
