ViVi Music LED Controller with VibeSync - Controller-Only Kit

Overall it works but is very buggy. Whenever I change the settings in the app, the unit doesn't remember it. I'm unable to change to my custom color palette and it's stuck on the default one. One of the outputs animates the LEDs a little bit faster than the other outputs. Mirroring and reverse options often glitches out the LEDs and I have to reboot. Could not connect to Wi-Fi via Android and I had to use my friends iOS device to update the unit.

I've bought half a dozen amazon special chinese LED controllers, absolutely none of them half the programming and brain to divide frequencies and rhythm the way the VIVI does; and this isn't even my favorite thing about Visual Vibes.

I knocked my controller out of commission a week before a new years party with the wrong power supply. I reached out to support and felt like I was talking to a buddy, they dove into the issue sending me a detailed diagnosis because they actually know their product. They offered to repair it and got it back to me in 3 days!

I expected a high end LED controller to impress my friends that required no coding, I did not expect triple AAA+ customer service along with it.

It’s been over a year since you updated your app. Please add more effects and fix any bugs.

I gave this 3 starts simply because of the fact that it does not come with the "correct" power source. Instead it comes with this usb power source which unfortunately does not supply enough power. (As I have come to figure out with the help of customer support) I would've rated this 2 stars but it was my fault I didn't read through the rules (and the what's included description) so I gave it an extra one because of that. But now I have to go and buy the 5 volt power source because I have messed up my usb power source and my lights no longer work after about 20 seconds since I didn't read the rules.
I bought the controller only kit because I expected it to come with EVERYTHING needed for the controller -since I already had two strips of lights (which was all I needed). Instead of getting the full kit which came with 4 extra led light strips. But came with the correct power source..
If I could have the company change anything it would be the usb power source. -I don't see the point of having that be in that kit when you WILL have to buy the 5 volt power source just so you can power more than one strip and have it brighter than the lowest setting. (I suggest that if anyone really needed it have that on the side as a single item to buy).

As a side note I honestly don't know if it's even the power source that's causing my lights to completely cut out after a few seconds by using the usb power source with both my light strips plugged in at random brightnesses throughout the day on and off. So I was told to buy the power source (to see if that worked) and if it didn't that means that using that power source messed up my controller! (and although I was told I could just mail back the controller if it was that that was the problem) It seems like a lot of unnecessary work for me to HAVE to do if only I just had the 5 volt power source to begin with..

Don't get me wrong though I absolutely love this product and if anyone had the spare money to be able to get something like this I would definitely recommend it it's so fun!
But just do yourself a favor and get the 5 volt power source as well with the controller only kit. If you plan on using more than just one light strip at a low brightness only.

Bought a second ViVi because I love the product and company so much. I highly recommend this product to everyone, and many people have purchased one after seeing my setup!
